Summer Ministry Impact 2024

Throughout our chapter we held twenty-nine 5 Day Clubs along with ministry at Sykesville, Jefferson, Clearfield and Elk County fairs. We are thankful God provided us with the biggest summer ministry team yet which allowed us to greatly increase our reach!

Summer Fair Ministry

Jefferson and Clearfield fair dates overlapped this year so with only one Storyhouse, we had to get creative. God provided a tent for us to use at the Clearfield fair (thank you PCMA Church). At Clearfield, 209 people came inside to hear the Gospel. God also provided enough missionaries and volunteers to run Storyhouse ministry at Jefferson fair. At Jefferson 214 people came into the Storyhouse. Praise the Lord for His provision!

1st Summer Storyhouse Event

On June 2nd, our summer missionary team launched into their first active ministry event! The Storyhouse was set up at the Family Fun Day in Clearfield and the teens presented the Wordless book inside. Children were able to do free spin art outside. At this event we reached over 100 children with the Gospel and 10 received Christ as Savior. His Word never returns void!

2024 Golf Scramble
Praise the Lord for a successful fundraiser!

On Saturday June 8th, eighteen teams gathered at Beechwoods Golf Course for a day of golfing. Silent and live auctions also took place during the event. Through this fundraiser, $8,816.17 was raised to further summer ministry! We are thankful for the work our golf committee put into making this event a success as well as our sponsors and participants. We look forward to next year!

Storyhouse Update

Through Dubois Kid's Fair in April, 42 children heard the Gospel message. Through this event many children with unbiblical catholic beliefs were able to hear the truth from God's Word. This is also where we were able to test out our new outdoor activity - paper airplane flying! The children have had so much fun folding and flying their own planes we have done it at our other events this Spring as well. Inside, we have given the message of salvation through the Gospel plane evangelism tool.

At the We Care event on May 4th, despite the gloomy weather, three children received Christ and three others were counseled for assurance. Through Storyhouse ministry at Cohen's purpose event in Dubois, two children received Christ and two others were counseled for assurance.

All children who received Christ or were counseled for assurance have received a devotional in the mail.

We thank the 24 volunteers who made these events happen!

Week of Giving Total
April 5th-12th

To all of our financial supporters, thank you for impacting the next generation with the Gospel of Jesus Chirst! Through the Week of Giving Campaign, we surpassed our goal, raising $20,189.61. These funds will help keep the local ministry of CEF® going, along with your prayers and service.

"I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel form the first day until now." Philippians 1:3-5

Storyhouse Training Update

In April, 16 volunteers gathered at First Baptist Church in Dubois to learn all the ropes of Storyhouse ministry! New volunteers were able to discover what Storyhouse ministry is all about and returning volunteers were able to walk away with confidence to serve. From reviewing the Wordless book, practicing crafts and learning necessary attendance skills as well as conversation ideas, those in attendance are now geared up to serve this summer!

Easter Ministry Results

Praise the Lord, 105 children were impacted with the Gospel through Easter Party Clubs during he month of March! Clubs were held at low income housing facilities, churches, homes as well as the Punxsutawney Elementary School. Over twenty volunteers & workers served to make these parties happen.

Good News Club Impact

During the Winter/Spring 2024 session of Good News Club® Brookville celebrated over 100 students in attendance! Punxsutawney Elementary school also had high attendance because of activity buses running. Lessons on the ministry of Paul encouraged saved children to share their faith and a group of 5th & 6th grade girls caught that vision and spent their lunch break telling their peers about Jesus!
